Challenge Events Manager

We are looking for an experienced Challenge Events Manager to lead Dementia UK’s third party and supporter-led (or ’DIY’) Challenge Events and manage a successful team of five. One in two of us will be affected by dementia in our lifetime – either by caring for someone with the condition, developing it ourselves, or both. Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity that is there for the whole family, providing support and expert advice, and this role provides an opportunity to fundraise for a vital cause. As the Challenge Events Manager your primary focus will be delivering a portfolio of events through effective acquisition campaigns and ensuring exceptional supporter experiences.
The ideal candidate for Challenge Events Manager will have:

• Strong project management skills with a proven experience of successfully delivering third party and DIY Challenge Events programmes
• Team management experience, managing at least 2-3 direct reports
• Excellent organisation and project management skills and experience in developing strong internal and external working relationships

Salary: £37,000-£40,000
Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week in Aldgate office
