WC180 - Channel Partner - Account Manager – Based Manchester City Centre

Basic Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience plus commission, benefits, personal development, and further professional training.

This is a new and exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving, dynamic organisation and team who are a multi-award-winning pioneer in SaaS-based AP Automation Software, dedicated to transforming how businesses manage their financial processes.

You will have significant business benefits through their newly formed partner channel and to their existing client base.

This is a hybrid role combining Channel Partner sales generation and existing client account management.

Operating across various industries, from manufacturing, retail, construction and the food and beverage industry. Their solutions are designed to cater to a diverse need of businesses looking to embrace the future of financial process automation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities through their partner channel, whilst retain their existing clients and manage relationships with their our high-value, high-growth clients.

Candidate Skills

  • You will be highly driven, proactive and a high-performing sales professional with a proven history of exceeding targets, ideally with experience in Channel Partner Sales, Account Management and SaaS sales within a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrate experience of building relationships and selling at C-Suite level and consistent performance against sales and customer satisfaction targets
  • Experience of strategic account planning, account reviews and contract management
  • Experience of creating the vision of the business value we deliver to key stakeholders using tools such as return on investment modelling, time to value analysis and total cost of ownership models
  • Good overall creation and closing skills including objection handling skills
  • Excellent communicator, written and spoken

Duties

  • You will be responsible for the full life cycle of the sales process, including prospecting with our partners, delivering presentations, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Generating new business opportunities within the partner channel by building relationships and educating the partner sales teams about our solutions.
  • Overseeing the performance of partners and collaborate with them to develop strategies aimed at generating revenue from both their existing clients and new business opportunities.
  • Devise and deliver training and support for to the partner sales teams, including providing collateral to support their sales process.
  • Build and grow relationships with our key clients, including C-Suite executives, to drive significant sales growth of our portfolio solutions.
  • Grow and maintain a healthy pipeline at a level that gives coverage for the achievement of targets.
  • Build & maintain strong working relationships with the various internal departments
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and oversee sales campaigns, tailored specifically to target whitespace within the client base.
  • Deliver an accurate weekly sales forecast.
  • Work with the management team to identify key opportunities for growth within the partner base and through existing clients.
  • Negotiation and closing of contract renewals, identifying risks associated with client attrition, and identifying plans to mitigate this.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within our CRM system to fully reflect the status of the client and activities undertaken and planned.
  • Generate and maintain customer advocacy with the primary objective of maximising the number of clients available for references.
  • Regularly visit partners and clients i.e. conducting quarterly meetings for structured strategic account reviews with key stakeholders.
