Main Responsibilities as a Chartered Accountant
- Conducting Audits
- Compiling monthly management accounts and report packages.
- All reconciliations at month-end.
- Aligning stock records in the accounts system with those in the stock system.
- Guaranteeing the timely issuance of sales invoices, ensuring alignment with contracts and purchase orders.
- Verifying compliance of all accounting treatments with International Standards (IFRS)
- Generating Accounting Memoranda as needed to substantiate adopted treatments.
- Aiding in the creation of monthly cashflow forecasts.
- Reviewing and submitting quarterly VAT Returns
Experience & Skills Required
- Accredited Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Recently qualified or possessing 1-2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Robust technical proficiency in accounting
- Proficient in establishing and nurturing strong professional connections
- Demonstrates commercial acumen and business awareness
- Successfully spearheaded year-end audit procedures
- Solid comprehension of financial processes and controls
