Host is a cocktail bar, restaurant and boutique hotel that has been lovingly created by local tradesmen out of a former Victorian bank right in the heart of St Ives, Cornwall.
We strive to exceed our customers' expectations with a quality, but affordable offering in a relaxed and fun way. We continuously strive to elevate our menu build around local produce and a woodfired oven!
You will play a key part in the success of our journey and therefore we will enable you to grow as much as you want to! We regularly work with well acclaimed chefs to develop our menu.
It is critical is that you have a strong understanding of health, safety and hygiene, a passion for food and being creative.
Five day working week! Extended paid holiday, out of season.
Your salary & tips will be paid fortnightly.

Responsibilities (with support of the head chef and consultants):
- Menu development
- Sourcing ingredients and stock control
- Create and execute recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health, safety & hygiene standards
- Prepare all food items in a timely manner
- Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
