We are helping them find a dedicated Chef de Partieto join their passionate team.
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join a dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef de Partie, you will be an essential part of our culinary team, responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes. You will oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that every dish meets our exacting standards. This role requires a combination of creativity, precision, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
- Oversee a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, sauces, pastry)
- Manage and train junior kitchen staff within your section.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in an excellent and timely manner.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
- Ability to manage a specific section of the kitchen efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
