Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled cook/chef to join our restaurant team. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our recipes and guidelines. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen operations.
We serve 20-40 people on daily basis, we only open for evening service.
Sundays we serve 50-60
Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant role in a restaurant or culinary environment
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures

Pay: £11.50-£12.50 per hour
