- 42.5 hours contract
- Time and a half overtime
- Monday to Friday
Our Chef de Partie will work hands-on within the Pegasus Restaurant, open between Monday and Friday, supporting the Sous Chef. Working across a mixture of day-time and evening shifts, they will ensure the food quality is consistently at the highest standard.
Key responsibilities:
- To support the kitchen department in all areas.
- To provide guidance to freelance chefs and porters.
- To oversee and organise each section's stock and ingredients in both preparation and stock holding.
- To ensure a first-in-first-out stock rotation system.
- To record wastage and raise any food cost concerns.
- To work with the Sous Chef to maintain kitchen organisation.
- To assist the Senior Chefs with future menu creations.
- Formal culinary training with experience within a restaurant environment
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
- Strong organisational skills
- Self-motivated
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Creative and personable character
