SalaryChef de Partie required for the kitchen of a busy cafe within a family-run garden centre. The role is to assist our head chefs with food preparation, completing orders and general kitchen work. You must be happy to clean and pot wash as required.
Working hours are Thursday to Sunday 10am - 4:30pm (26 hours per week). Day time only, no split shifts, no evenings required.
Role requirements:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or have relevant experience in a busy kitchen setting
- Up-to-date Food Hygiene Certificate
- Baking skills would be an advantage but not necessary
Overtime is occasionally available to cover holidays / sickness.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
We have a small & friendly cafe team and are looking for a positive person to fit into the role.
The candidate should ideally have their own transport due to our rural location.
