Chef Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to become our new Chef Manager at one of our sites in Birmingham.

Working 5 days out of 7, 7:00am to 3:30pm and 2:00pm to 10:30pm, 40 hours per week.
We are looking for someone with experience in Catering Management that can inspire and motivate their team yet retain a hands-on approach to the operations. Event catering is essential for this role. You will head up the team and build on successes to deliver the highest standards of food and customer service across the site.

The role requires someone who is commercially minded with the ability to demonstrate a track record of developing efficient and cost effective processes and that you have first class communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all catering services are delivered to the highest standards
• Managing the team
• Will be very hands on
• Overseeing the day to day operation
• Ensure that all customer requirements are delivered
• Staff development including training and motivating staff
• Manage labour budget
• Manage Cost
• Must have a love for great food and service
• Excellent people management and communication skills
• Proven experience in managing successful teams
• Experience in a similar role
• Be able to create bespoke Hospitality offers
• Have Chef background and or great food knowledge
• Excellent organisational skills
• Very flexible in regards to working hours
• Experience of leading and managing teams to deliver results
• Able to work in a pressurised environment and be able to multi- task
• Understanding of P&L accounts

• Strong premium hospitality experience in another venue
• Local knowledge and experience working in the area

• Exceptional presentation skills
• Articulate and very well organised
• Proactive and reliable
