Overview:
We are seeking skilled and creative Chefs to join our team at Ardfern Cafe & Bar sister venue of The Little Chartroom and Eleanore. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and the ability to lead a kitchen team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and presentation in the kitchen
- Create innovative and high-quality menu items
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience supervising kitchen operations
- Familiarity with menu planning and development
- Knowledge of team management principles in a culinary setting
