The LLDC has achieved an incredible amount since its creation in 2012. Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park has been transformed into one of London’s top destinations, attracting millions of worldwide visitors each year, providing a valuable resource for local communities, and generating millions of pounds of economic benefit for the capital.
We are proud to have delivered the greatest Olympic and Paralympic legacy, but there is still much work to do. Moving forward the Park will continue to evolve; with new neighbourhoods being delivered, new business attracted, visitor attractions to be managed and maintained; and East Bank, the UK’s most exciting and ambitious culture and education district in a generation, becoming fully operational.
As Chief Executive you will play a lead role in realising the benefits of the legacy while maximising commercial opportunities to further cement Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park’s reputation as a destination of global significance. You will ensure the delivery of new homes including through two significant joint venture development vehicles. You will work with delivery partners and stakeholders across the private, public and voluntary sectors to that the Legacy Corporation delivers its strategic objectives, driving inward investment, promoting growth and promoting the Queen Elizabeth Park ‘great estate’.
We are looking for an experienced board-level leader (from either the public or private sector) with expertise in inclusive economy, development and/or commercial and asset management, together with strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to work across a complex and diverse stakeholder and partner landscape.
