Cheshire College South & West, renowned for its technical and professional education, is seeking an exceptional Chief Finance Officer to lead their financial strategy. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Cheshire region’s education. Collaborating closely with employers, the college is at the forefront of meeting the changing national skills agenda and driving regional growth, with a commitment to widening participation and student engagement.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will lead the finance function across the college’s 3 main campuses. Your expertise in business planning, financial control and reporting will ensure the financial integrity of the College and by maximising efficiencies and identifying growth opportunities, you will help drive us to new levels of success. You will be the strategic lead across the finance function, focusing on expenditure, risk management, compliance and analysis of key management information to shape thinking.
We are looking for a qualified and commercially oriented finance leader. Your strategic experience, ideally in a complex and customer-centric environment, will be invaluable. With strong technical and analytical expertise, you will navigate complex revenue streams and drive commercial growth initiatives. Your exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills will allow you to engage with stakeholders at all levels, shaping strategic challenges with deliverable and workable business solutions.
