Chief Financial Officer

SF Executive are working with a high growth product and FMCG business in Hampshire to source a dynamic, communicative and commercially adept Chief Financial Officer.
This is a senior and strategic role with responsibility for the finances of a £50m plus turnover organisation that is growing significantly through a combination of organic growth and sensible, well executed M&A.
You will be involved in all aspects of the business from day-to-day financial control to cash flow management, forecasting and strategic planning.
It will be vital that you can communicate effectively with the executive and management teams, especially the CEO, understand and challenge their points of view and help them appreciate the financial implications of their decisions.
With offices in Hampshire you will be a present member of the Board able to effectively engage with different stakeholders.
Working closely within the executive team, you will manage the development of the organisation's financial strategy and execute this.
You will also produce forecasts that assess the long-term financial trends and consider various scenarios around future income and any new products, based on management information.
In addition, you will provide financial support to executive and management teams to help the company achieve its short- and long-term objectives.
The role is for an experienced and credible CFO from a privately owned or PE backed product led business that has the gravitas to inspire confidence in both internal and external stakeholders.
You will be used to working at Board level and will ideally have led some kind of positive exit / sale process for shareholders - you will know what good looks like in this respect.
You will be expected on site most days and to take your commitment to the business and wider stakeholders seriously - this is not one for someone looking to work within a hybrid model - you will already live within a sensible commuting distance to Hampshire and not be looking to relocate or stay away from home excessively during the week.
