- Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Co-Founder (m/f/d)
Momentum Transfer is a venture which will revolutionise materials discovery and development. We harness the power of synchrotron radiation to characterise our customers' materials using high throughput techniques and deliver our product via a cloud based platform. This helps our customers build fast and lean material development pipelines.
As the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will be instrumental in scaling our startup from its pre-seed stage to Series B and beyond. Your role will not only encompass traditional operational responsibilities but also focus heavily on establishing and driving the sales organisation and commercial strategy. You will blend strategic planning with hands-on execution to ensure our commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Salesand Commercial Strategy: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to drive revenue growth. Establish metrics and targets, aligning them with the company's long-term objectives
- Operational Leadership: Manage daily operations, ensuring they support the company's strategic goals and sales objectives
- BuildingSales Organization: Set up a strong sales team. Recruit, train, and mentor sales personnel, fostering a culture of achievement and success
- FinancialManagement: Manage budgets and financial planning with a focus on profitability and revenue growth
- Ownfundraising and financial strategy and execution together with founders
- Processand Performance Optimization: Streamline operations and sales processes for efficiency and effectiveness
Your Profile
- Provenexperience as a COO or in a similar leadership role with a strong focus on sales and commercial growth, preferably in technology
- Demonstratedsuccess in building and leading sales teams, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strategicthinker with the ability to create and implement effective sales strategies.
- Excellentfinancial acumen, with experience in budgeting and financial planning
- Strongleadership skills, capable of motivating and managing teams for peak performance
- Outstandingcommunication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for building strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Adaptabilityto thrive in a fast-paced and evolving startup environment
Ideal Previous Experience/Achievements:
- Experiencein successfully scaling a startup's sales and operations, particularly from pre-seed to Series B funding stages
- Proventrack record in market expansion and establishing successful sales operations
- Experiencein customer acquisition, contract negotiation, and key account management
