A Chief Technology Officer is required by our Financial Services client to lead the overall technology platform strategy. The role owns delivery of operational technology services (including workplace technology and specialist line-of-business solutions).
You must be a strategic thinker with the ability to translate across relevant technology platforms. You will be required to lead, inspire, and motivate a team to deliver high quality service management, cyber security controls and architect technology solutions in support of strategic projects as well as other BAU demands; ensuring the platform capabilities are best exploited.
The ideal candidate for this position must show a strong Architecture background before making the transition to becoming a CTO.
Key Experience:
• Have delivered and managed large scale technology platform implementation / migration projects
• Experience in various delivery methodologies (including Agile and Waterfall), and able to adapt approach appropriately
• Highly focused on delivery of operational services, including managing service delivery and quality of service, in partnership with business stakeholders
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to keep people engaged and informed and able to influence people at the right level
• Extensive experience of delivering technology solutions through intelligent use of technologies and processes.
• Highly skilled strategic thinker with the ability to translate across relevant technologies
• Able to evidence the creation, development and implementation of technology strategies
Key Skills:
• In-depth understanding of cloud technologies, including migration, integration and service management
• Understanding of Microsoft cloud technologies and cloud platforms (e.g. Microsoft 365, Azure)
• Solid experience of developing and deploying service management processes as well as continuous service improvement
• Demonstrable experience managing relationships and customer demand as well as service delivery
• Good understanding of information security policies and practices
• Extensive experience with Architecture principles and approach
