SalaryWe are working with a highly reputable Local Authority in the Nottinghamshire Region looking for a Childcare Legal Practitioner/Paralegal to join their busy department on an interim basis.
The successful candidate must have upwards of 6 months’ experience in:
- Childcare matters in a local authority
- A good understanding of Childcare and ideally Adult Social Care law
- Legal advisory experience is essential
Responsibilities will include: -
- Drafting S.7 and S.37 reports
- Undertaking your own casework
- Drafting witness statements and applications
- Preparing hardcopy and electronic bundles
Pay rate is between £18-25 per hour.
The council offer a hybrid working environment. Training will be provided.
The local authority is looking for a candidate to start as soon as possible. Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are looking to speak to candidates available on no more than 2 weeks’ notice. Previous Childcare Legal experience is essential.
