RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT – CHILDCARE TEMPS CONTROLLER

This is a very exciting opportunity to join the Corporate Sector of one of London's leading agencies.  We are currently looking for a Temps Controller to run our Emergency Childcare and  After-School Nannies desk.  The role is fast-paced and you will need to keep up with that!  It is an awesome time to join the team though as it's going through it's continual growth stage!  You will be working with a variety of clients, but of course based in the childcare sector.  If this is something you are currently working in, but want more of a work-life balance or the opportunity to be able to make some great commission, this role is for you!

Role Summary

The role is to run a desk, with a strict financial target in place for the year, and to meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs in order to reach that budget.

The Childcare Temps Controller will look after temporary bookings and will be responsible for business development, looking after current clients and maintaining relationships, candidate management in conjunction with the Candidate Resourcers and the day to day running of their own desk.

The Childcare Temps Controller looks after the Emergency Childcare desk, as well as After-School Nannies, which will go through the Greycoat Lumleys payroll.

The role reports into the Temps Billing Manager and will be reviewed monthly, quarterly and annually by the Billing Manager to ensure that targets are met.   

Responsibilities – more detail can be given on request:

  • Working to your KPIs and targets to enable you to hit that sweet spot of commission.

  • Sourcing candidates and maintaining your candidate database.

  • Managing and looking after your candidates.

  • Ensuring that the compliance and administration is done on all of your candidates – this is probably one of the most important parts of the role.

  • Dealing with private clients and consulting with them to find the best fit for them.

  • Taking new jobs, and being able to advise on payroll features and benefits. 

  • Quoting for new jobs and managing the end to end job process.

  • Running a weekly payroll. 

  • Business development and business retention on a daily basis.

  • Assisting with cover within the team for annual leave and sickness.
