Job description

Barnardo’s is committed to providing ‘Better Outcomes for More Children’. Our children’s services volunteers help the charity to deliver essential services in local communities, providing support to over 300,000 children, young people and their families. This role provides a great opportunity to join our fantastic children’s services and help make a real difference. Often disabled children are excluded from attending local activities as the disabled child’s specific needs cannot be accommodated. This can lead to social exclusion for both the disabled child and their siblings. Barnardo’s Play for All Saturday clubs were created to provide disabled children between the ages of 5 and 12 years of age with the opportunity to participate in play and leisure activities in their local area.
