Meet our service user
Our service user is a happy teenage boy who lives with his family in West Bromwich, he requires support throughout the night on a 1:1 basis.
He enjoys playing with his toys and listening to music, especially waterfall sounds. He also likes to watch lights and patterns; he particularly loves his light up snow globe.
To express his feelings and indicate his wants and needs he uses various facial expressions and sounds. It is important that you can understand and interpret his communication to avoid him becoming distressed or frustrated.
Throughout the night you will be required to attend to his complex and clinical care needs, support with personal care, moving & handling, repositioning, regular monitoring and offering comfort and reassurance when needed to promote a restful night’s sleep.
He has a lovely, outgoing personality and is looking for a like-minded person to join his team.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
Desirable Experience
- PEG Feeding
- Nebuliser Care
- Bowel Management
- Oral Suction
- Epilepsy Care
We have the following shifts available;
- Part Time Nights
- 8:30pm - 6:30am
- Wednesdays & Sundays
Take a look at our pay rates
Weeknights: £14.00 per hour (£140 approx. per 10hr shift)
Saturday : £14.50 per hour (£145 approx. per 10hr shift)
Sunday : £14.50 per hour (£145 approx. per 10hr shift)
Bank Holiday : £16.00 per hour (£160 approx. per 10hr shift)
