Children's Registered Manager
As the Registered Children Care Home Manager for our new home, you will be required to develop and register the home, completing all the necessary paperwork and plans for submission to Ofsted.
Upon successful completion, it is the Registered Managers responsibility for overseeing the establishment and management of a care home project catering to the needs of children. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a strong understanding of child welfare and safeguarding, and the ability to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children in your care. You will ensure compliance with relevant regulations, manage a team of staff, and collaborate with external agencies to promote the well-being and development of the children.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
- Full driving license
- At least two years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a residential care setting for children.
- Comprehensive knowledge of child welfare and safeguarding principles and practices.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies.
- Sound judgment, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to make decisions in the best interest of the children.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to children's care homes.
