What The Post Requires
- A minimum of 5 years’ Working in Residential Childcare
- At least 2 year in a role supervising and managing staff in a Deputy Manager role
- NVQ Level 3 In Children and Young People's Workforce/Residential Childcare
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)
- Must have a “GOOD” or ‘OUTSTANDING within the last two years OFSTED Inspections
What the post responsibilities include but not limited to
- Ensuring compliance with Ofsted and regulatory requirements
- Meeting all budgetary, regulatory, and service development targets
- Matching potential Young People with the current residents
- Ensuring Young People have a positive influence from the staff team through your leadership and management of the home
- Preparing reports and attending a range of meetings, such as review meetings with multi-agency partners, management meetings and Interviewing new potential staff for your team
