Young Person Residential Support Worker
Up to 35k Inclusive of sleep-ins (Depending on experience and qualifications)
£60 per sleep in, average 10 sleep in per month plus opportunity for overtime.
We are currently Recruiting for **Experienced Male Residential Support Workers**; this is to work in a home with up to two children and young people needing behavioural and emotional support.

Working as a young person Residential Support Worker, you must be willing to go above and beyond for the children and young people, ensuring that they have an experience of childhood that they can reflect upon and carry with them into adulthood. Ideally You will need to have experience at working within a children’s Residential Support setting.
The candidate MUST hold at minimum Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent
You will be expected to develop and maintain effective, positive professional working relationships with relevant professionals and agencies to meet the overall needs of the children in your care.

Duties:
- To support the children and young people in all day-to-day activities and interests
- To promote the young person's independence and wellbeing
- To attend weekends away, holidays and trips away with the Children
- To attend weekend and evening activities to support the children and young people in their interests. This can range from climbing and baking cakes to weekend activities away!
- To protect the children and young people from any risks to their health and welfare
- To provide emotional and practical support to the young people within our home.
- To ensure the safety of young people by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines
- To support, overcome and learn to minimise incidents when behaviour can be challenging.
The successful candidate must have:
- A desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
- Empathetic, caring and resilient nature
- Minimum 2 years work experience in a social care setting
- The right to work in the UK
- A valid UK driving licence with valid business insurance
- Relevant qualifications are welcomed!

Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 44 per week
