Children's Residential Worker

Your new company
You will be working for a small independent company with 3 services across Seaford. They have been successfully operating for over 20 years and offer a stable and safe place for children.

Your new role
You will be working as a Children\'s Residential Support worker across the 3 services. You will be supporting 8-18 year old with primarily emotional and behavioural needs. You will support them through their day-to-day lives activities, from school and homework to social activities.

You will ideally drive so you can take the children out to variety of activities outside of school.

You will be working 3 long days with sleepins a week with 3 full days across weekends per calendar month.

What you\'ll need to succeed
You will have experience working with Children in a residential setting. Ideally, you will hold your NVQ Level 3 or be working towards it (it can be completed within the role).

A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine interest in the well-being and development of children and young people.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and external professionals.

Patience, resilience, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
