Smooth Starts Plus is a therapeutic support organisation who work with children and young people who struggle to access a range and balance of meaningful opportunities. This could be due to social and emotional difficulties, or complex communication needs.
As a Support Worker, you will work with children in the community to access activities they enjoy, which in turn will build their confidence and opportunities further. An ability to form positive relationships and a creative and energetic outlook are therefore key for this role
The organisation also support children who are struggling to attend school, and instead relational and confidence building opportunities are supported through activity engagement, most often in the community, at the child's pace.
The hours for this role are Saturday and Sunday, 9.00-16.00
Please note - the direct work is based in both Cardiff and across the Vale of Glamorgan. A car driver, with access to a vehicle for transporting children, is essential for this role.

Pay: From £12.00 per hour
