SalaryExciting Opportunity: Mid-Level Commercial and Civil Litigator (3+ PQE)
My client pride themselves on decades of experience handling complex commercial disputes, with a focus on cases with an international dimension. One of their specialised areas of expertise lies in Civil Fraud, where we navigate the recovery of assets and damages stemming from bribery, corruption, and other forms of asset misappropriation.
As part of our white-collar crime and regulatory disputes team, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases, including:
- Advising on sanctions issues, and laws affecting individuals and companies' assets.
- Managing the overlap between criminal and civil proceedings, including navigating competing processes and collaborating with criminal investigatory and prosecution authorities.
- Representing clients subject to criminal allegations by overseas governments and assisting in asset recovery efforts.
- Handling market manipulation and abuse issues, including representing shareholders and advising on potential FCA investigations.
- Assisting overseas companies in understanding UK bribery laws and developing compliance functions to facilitate business dealings with UK corporates.
You will be working with a highly experienced team of legal professionals with a proven track record in handling complex disputes. Further to this, you will engage in challenging and intellectually stimulating work that spans international boundaries.
