Bristol, UK - Salary up to £27,500

Yolk Legal is delighted to be assisting a dynamic team in Bristol in their search for a skilled individual to fill the role of Claims Administrator. This presents a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving professional indemnity claims handling team and contribute to their success. This is what you'll be doing

As a Claims Administrator your duties and responsibilities will include:-

  • Effectively set up and manage new claim notifications, showcasing your keen eye for detail.
  • Allocate incoming notifications to claims handlers promptly, demonstrating your commitment to timely task execution.
  • Request and organise missing policy documents from brokers and insurers, ensuring completeness of information in the claims files.
  • Craft compelling letters to insureds, insurers, and brokers on behalf of claims handlers, utilising your excellent written communication skills.
  • Generate daily and annual claims summaries, including relevant financial information, to contribute to comprehensive reporting.

The experience you'll bring to the team

You will bring the following experience as a Claims Administrator to the professional indemnity team:-

  • Previous experience in claims administration, demonstrating your familiarity with the professional indemnity claims landscape.
  • Strong organisational skills, evidenced by your ability to manage various tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with brokers and team members.
  • Familiarity with claims management systems, showcasing your technical acumen in file set-ups and documentation.
