Key Responsibilities
- Manage large and intricate claims for clients, showcasing the value of Lockton's Claims Consultancy services.
- Maintain client satisfaction throughout the claims process.
- Provide immediate support to clients following a loss occurrence.
- Gather information from clients/stakeholders, assess their losses, and present them to loss adjusters.
- Obtain client agreement to earn fees for claim preparation.
- Assist the Lockton claims community with technical advice.
- Participate in/lead claims meetings with clients, loss adjusters, and insurers.
- Thoroughly comprehend policy wordings and coverage provided to clients.
- Utilize personal skills and knowledge to mentor other members of the claims team.
- Explore and cultivate alternative revenue streams for claims-related activities.
Competencies
- Profound understanding of commercial property claims.
- Experience with Major & Complex loss
- Advocacy experience
- Preferably, a solid grasp of London Market Real Estate.
- Willingness and capability to continually enhance knowledge through internal and external learning opportunities.
- Effective and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with clients, loss adjusters, insurers, and colleagues.
- Efficient time management and prioritization to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
