Working within the London Market Claims Team, the successful candidate will lead a team of specialist market leading Claims Adjusters, dealing with claims arising out of the Casualty Division, including Directors & Officers, Cyber, and General Liability.

This is an exciting opportunity that will place the candidate in a leading position within the Lloyd’s Market. It is a 12 Month, fixed term contract role.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating and developing a market leading team of high performing and specialist claims professionals.
• Ensuring the Claims, Underwriting and Actuarial teams are fully aligned.
• Being an active member of the Divisional Leadership Team, ensuring the claims offering and underwriting intentions are fully aligned.
• Serving as an experienced point of reference for your claims team, adding insight, a second pair of eyes, and authority where necessary.
• Contributing to the strategic development of the London Market Claims Team, in line with the company's core Claims strategy and vision.
• Monitoring the development of key reporting metrics and responding accordingly.
• Internal reporting regarding the claims portfolio and large losses to the senior management team.
• Professionally managing experts, third party service providers and coverholders, ensuring a high level of service at all times.
• Fully participating as a member of the London Market Claims Management Team.
• Representing the Claims function in front of brokers and policyholders.

Key Requirements

• Candidates will ideally have significant experience of handling Casualty Claims within the London Lloyd's market. However, candidates with only strong Casualty Claims handling experience will also be considered.
• Must have a proven track record and experience in a claims management / leadership role.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
