Claims Negotiator

As a Claims Negotiator, you will be responsible for managing a case load of claims and providing efficient and timely claims handling services in alignment with our client's high service standards.

Key Accountabilities - Once Fully Trained:

• Manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
• Develop the capability to issue proceedings for motor accident cases
• Process allocated claims and effectively utilise the advanced Case Management system
• Handle all new claims correspondence
• Determine liability and indemnity for all claims within your allocation
• Negotiate claims until their conclusion, up to the point of a Hearing
• Maintain an efficient diary regime
• Refer any claim to the appropriate team Manager should the nature of the Claim change or deteriorate

Required Skills:

• At least 2 years of previous experience in issuing proceedings for road traffic accidents
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to adapt communication styles
• Effective planning and prioritisation to meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships
• Computer literacy and ability to adapt to new technologies
