An established Lloyd’s broker is seeking a Claims Technician to join their successful team. With a reputation for excellence, this role offers the chance to be part of a respected organisation within the insurance sector.
Day to Day of the role:- Process and monitor claims, handle accounting issues, and respond to client enquiries.
- Broker claims files into the market and reconcile paid claims to bordereaux.
- Address issues relating to claims or accounts and update paper files and electronic data.
- Deal with Bureau/XIS enquiries and use A&S systems daily.
- Comply with procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Perform general administration tasks and maintain required records, reports, and files in an organised manner.
- Present records and reports to senior management as required.
- Handle any ad hoc duties that may arise.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Claims Technician role within the insurance industry.
- Confidence with computers and ideally part CII qualified.
- Experience with ECF, CLASS, and Brokasure Desktop.
- Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, insurers, and associates.
