SalaryIf you are a Class 1 Driver looking for part time shifts (2 / 3 per week) or are struggling to get a full weeks work with your current agency, then we have the role for you.
Our client is based in Carrington and is looking for Class 1 Drivers who can work 2 / 3 shifts per week. This will suit Class 1 Drivers who can work days or nights, with the client being operational Monday through to Friday. The start times for days are around 05:00 / 06:00, the start times for nights are around 17:00 / 18:00
The role is delivering reels, with around 1 / 2 drops per shift, with a mixture of live unloads, or trailer swaps, working around 10 / 12 hours. You will be working on curtain sided trailers. Due to the type of load you are carrying, load security is of the upmost importance, ensuring all the reels are adequately chocked and strapped. The Class 1 Drivers will need to have held their licence for 2 x years, due to the companies insurance requirements.
Prior to starting, the Class 1 Drivers will need to complete the companies induction forms, so you are ready to work for them.

- Ad Hoc Shifts – 2 / 3 per week

Pay details:
Monday to Friday Days - £19.00 assignment rate
Monday to Friday Nights – £21.50 assignment rate
Saturday All Hours (when required) - £20.20 assignment rate
Sunday All Hours (when required) - £21.20 assignment rate
Requirements:
- Need to have held your Class 1 HGV licence for at least 2 x years (with experience)
- In-date CPC and Digi Tacho Card
- No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes) for insurance purposes
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
- A good, professional attitude
