Class 1 HGV Driver

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a vital role in our organization as you will ensure timely and safe delivery of products to our customers.

Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, such as a truck or flatbed, to transport goods
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure on-time deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any defects or issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery details
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively
- Physical strength and stamina to load and unload cargo as needed
- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers and customers
