Job Description:
- Engaging Instruction: Deliver dynamic and interactive lessons tailored to Year 4 students, aligned with national curriculum standards.
- Adaptability: Capable of adjusting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
- Assessment and Feedback: Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to aid in academic growth and development.
- Classroom Management: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to succeed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and school leadership to contribute to a cohesive and supportive educational community.
- Effective Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with parents, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns in a timely manner.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay abreast of educational best practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Hold a recognized teaching qualification with QTS status.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably within Year 4.
- Curriculum Knowledge: Familiarity with the national curriculum and proficiency in delivering effective lessons across core subjects.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Team Player: Willingness to collaborate within a team-oriented environment and contribute to the overall success of the school.
- Commitment: Dedication to maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity in all aspects of teaching and school life.
