Clean all shared areas and communal facilities to agreed standards, including floors, furniture, equipment, laundry, office, guest bedrooms, and short stay accommodation.
Maintain cleanliness of refuse rooms and recycling areas.
Keep external entrances and flat block areas clear and presentable.
Respond to reactive cleaning needs to maintain health and safety within communal areas, including handling hazardous materials with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
Order cleaning supplies using the computerised system.
Report any broken furniture, equipment, resident emergencies, or health and safety incidents immediately.
Conduct health and safety checks, including legionella testing, and follow up on any required actions.
Complete COSHH assessments and maintain up-to-date data sheets for cleaning products.
Maintain the Independent Living Cleaner log, recording any resident or visitor concerns or enquiries.
Work flexibly across various Independent Living/Flexi care schemes as required by the weekly rota.
Collaborate with various teams within the council and external organisations to ensure a high standard of service.
