Cleaner/Janitor

Goldcrest Cleaning are looking for a Janitor, at one of our clients at The National Exhibition Centre, Marston Green, Birmingham, B40 1NT

The contracted Hours and times are

Friday 12pm - 4pm, Saturday 12pm - 5pm, Sunday 12pm - 4pm (13 hours per week)

Start date is still to be confirmed

Monthly Pay

You will also be expected to work on Bank holidays when the site is open 12pm - 4pm (this will be paid at an enhanced rate of pay)

The site is also open more during the school holidays, so again you will be expected to work extra days on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursday (this will be paid at normal rate)

This will be written into your contract of employment

There will also be the opportunity to cover the morning cleaners holiday or sickness which is 6am - 8.30am.

Monthly Pay

Full training will be provided and PPE will also be provided

Pro - rata holiday entitlement

Responsibilities

• Walking the site Litter Picking.
• Emptying bins regularly.
• Replenish toilet consumables.
• Clean and maintain the toilets. (as they are in constant use)
• Clean glass, mirrors and touch points. (removing smudges and finger marks)
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Cooperate with the client.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• And any other associated tasks.

Requirements and skills

• Proven working experience as a Janitor.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Integrity and ability to work independently.
• Have great attention to detail.
• Good people skills as the public will be on the premises while you are there.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £12.20 per hour

Expected hours: 13 per week
