We now have an exciting opportunity for Public Area Cleaner to join our Housekeeping Department.
As a Public Area Cleaner , you will be required to master the art of versatility and inject some energy whilst completing a variety of duties. The main duties expected within the role are:
- Ensure that all areas within the hotel are of a high standard – clean, unmarked, no defects.
- Understand and abide by the standards for cleaning a stay over, departure and turn down. Ensure this is understood throughout the team and report to the Housekeeping Supervisor if training is required.
- Throughout your shift, when the opportunity is available, to complete floor inspections to ensure corridors are clear of any obstructions, trays and other debris.
- To control all consumables (e.g. guest supplies) ensuring sufficient stock to service the business when required.
- Ensure that all Public Areas and facilities are cleaned to Park Regis, Brand Standard and to maintain excellent operating standards as well as meeting mystery audit standards.
- Ensure that all Public Areas and facilities are clean, not scuffed and have no defects that the guest will experience.
- To ensure your trolley is well stocked with cleaning equipment, guest room supplies and supplied linen stock at the start of every shift. Ensure your trolley is replenished for the next shift.
- Only use cleaning products and materials that have been provided by the hotel and only use products from company agreed suppliers.
- To always keep the pantry and housekeeping storage areas tidy and organised.
- To abide by the time allocated for cleaning and preparing Front and Back of house areas without compromising standards
