JOB TITLE: Depot Fleet Supervisor
LOCATION: JNP/BCV/SSL- London
REPORTING INTO: Senior Contract Manager (SCM)
CONTRACT: TfL Depots Division
PAY RATE: £12.95
ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
This position is a (21.00 to 05.00 shift 5 out of 7 nights)– (40 hrs p/w)
Problem solving operational support as directed by Senior Contract Manager (SCM) and/or Senior Operations Manager (SOM). This role will at time cross over from operational support to administrative support with a major focus on staff welfare and engagement being a pivotal part of the role. Supervising teams under instruction and direction of the Senior Contract Manager (SCM).
Resolving FQMS non-compliance, briefing, coaching, and ensuring standardisation across group lines is achieved. This role will involve communication across several stakeholders’ levels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To attend to various sites to implement processes and actions based on FQMS (audit platform findings) and method statements.
- Actions, and find solutions for failing FQMS attributes as directed by the SOM.
- Fault analysis and fault resolution, engaging with site-based team members for the practical solutions.
- Supporting team member related administrative work, such as, but not limited to return-to-work meetings, keeping accurate records on internal systems.
- Employee relations support, such as note taking and/or supporting and conducting various informal and formal meetings in line with company procedures.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders on the newly recruited staff, track, and licence/Area A/PTD attendance. (Tracking of inductees into certified training until they start on site).
- Hold briefing sessions as required.
- Cover in the absence of SCMs.
- Liaise and organise the mobile FAST team (Fleet Activity Support Team) into most productive areas, ensuring they are adequately supervised on site.
- Conduct ad hoc stock take at the request of the General Manager (GM).
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Literate, numerate and competent with Microsoft outlook, TEAMs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and power B I will be a necessity.
Outgoing and with good communication skills. The ideal candidate should act with great integrity and humility and always live the ABM values, challenging others, speaking up when necessary and a good listener with a flexible can-do attitude, willing to develop themselves and others. Flexible, as you will be required to travel to various operational sites.

- Excel, Teams and Word proficient.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Upon appointment a DTA (track safety compliance training) licence would need to be obtained.
- IOSH (desirable, but not essential).
