Cleaning Supervisor- Day Shift

Meridian Business Support is currently recruiting for Cleaning Supervisor for our client based in Derby.Location: DE22Shifts: Monday to Friday, Day Shift.Working Hours: 5.45am to 9.45am, Monday to Friday. (With occasional opportunities for overtime on Saturday’s).Pay rate: 12.50/hourRole Summary:Responsible for the efficient and effective operations of the University Cleaning Team to ensure that the University buildings are cleaned to the highest possible standard.Providing leadership to the Cleaning Team and act as a role model for the whole cleaning team.Supporting the Service Delivery Manager in motivating the team and maintaining a working environment and culture that maximises staff engagement.Drive continuous improvement on the management and delivery of cleaning operations across the University.Responsibilities:Responsible for issuing of keys/opening up for cleaners.Responsible for the signing in/out of all staff each dayResponsible for organising and supervising daily work of cleaning staff.To report daily any damages or repairs.Provide cover during sickness or absence.Manage and oversee all material and stock required to undertake cleaning activities and keep an asset list of all equipment used by the team including maintenance and replacement schedules.Training will be provided.Temp to Perm opportunity.Please apply for the role if you meet the above criteria and we will be in touch with you to book you registration
