Purpose of Role

We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to lead/support the team and provide a high standard of cleaning and hygiene services for our clients.

This is a key role working as part of a professional facilities team providing a proactive high-level customer focused service to our client.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and be able to provide the required documentation. Good physical ability is necessary for this role.

Job Description

In this role, you will support the Management team ensuring that tasks are completed as instructed on time and to the required standard.

As Supervisor, you will train new starters, complete return to work meetings with staff and address poor performance when required. This is a working supervisor role and will require you to complete cleaning tasks along side your team.

Responsibilities

Maintain the highest level of cleaning standard and safety carrying out essential cleaning tasks including but not limited to:

• Managing a team of Cleaning Operatives to deliver a good consistent standard
• Organising cover for holiday and absence
• Ordering and refilling stock
• Delivering training and Tool box talks
• Completing audit with the client team

Assisting the team deliver all of the below as and when necessary:

• Damp Wiping and Dusting
• Vacuuming and Mopping
• Jet washing
• High level cleaning (from ground level)
• Window Cleaning
• Waste Removal
• Litter Picking
• Washroom cleaning
• Ensuring all equipment is kept clean, well maintained & in working order

Essential Qualifications/Skills

• Previous cleaning experience
• Strong leadership skills and previous experience supervising a small team
• Industrial cleaning experience such as jet washing, window cleaning, deep cleaning.
