Clerical Admin/Booking Officer x 2

To start: ASAP

Duration: 3 months approx.

Pay rate: £11.85 per hour

Hours: The department works long days 0730-2000.

There is a possibility of part-time or a compressed working week ( minimum of 3 days ) but no home working

Potential to work 7.5 hour days

Days: Variable - weekend shifts may be available

Based: Chichester

Main Duties: Working to Radiology protocols to attend patients on site and book patient appointments on the telephone or by letter using the Radiology information system CRIS

Required Skills

Requires a good attention to detail.

Ability to deal sensitively and calmly with patients.

Teamworking skills.

Excellent Communication skills.

Good organisational skills, able to cancel and rebook appointments and manage your own day.

Dealing with last minute changes to appointments.

Inputting and retrieving information.

Transferring information and images electronically.

Must be empathetic and sensitive to patient’s needs.

Ideal candidate would have some knowledge of Radiology IT systems, but not essential.

All other ad-hoc duties as required.
