Clerical Admin / Booking Officer

Berry Recruitment are looking for two Clerical Admin/Booking Officers to work at a hospital in the Radiology unit based in Chichester.

This is to start ASAP on a 3 month contract (possible extension) working 7.5 hours a day between 07.30 and 20.00. There is a possibility of part time working minimum of 3 days a week.

Hourly pay is £16.61.

You MUST have a Basic DBS for this role.

The main purpose of this role is to book patient appointments by telephone or letter using Radiology information system.

Main Duties:

• Work with Admin Team Leader, Senior Medical Staff, Radiographers, Patients, Consultants, Medical Secretaries, GP Surgeries and Ward Staff
• Use booking system to book, change or cancel appointments
• Rebook lists at short notice due to unexpected unavailability of staff
• Deal with all queries effectively and in a sensitive and confidential manner
• Attend regular team briefs
• Accurately use department computer systems, inputting data and retrieving information

Candidate Requirements:

• Knowledge of Radiology IT systems is desirable but not essential
• Good attention to detail
• Computer literate
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
