About the Role:
Our client, a well–established accountancy firm set in a beautiful location, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Client Bookkeeper. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional familiar with Quickbooks and Xero, who can efficiently manage VAT returns and provide exceptional client support over the phone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain client bookkeeping records using Quickbooks and Xero.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time.
- Provide clients with clear, understandable guidance on bookkeeping issues over the telephone.
- Ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date.
- Resolve client queries and issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper within an accountancy practice.
- Strong proficiency in Quickbooks and Xero.
- Solid understanding of VAT returns and related processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to clients.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
