The Better at Home Service Coordinator role at Age UK Wandsworth is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about enabling older people to live independently and safely in their homes.
The role involves managing our Handyperson Service. This service is comprised of the coordinator and a small team of handypeople on staff, who work with a range of health and social care providers, local organisations, and older residents to provide minor repairs and adaptations that improve safety, security, and quality of life at home. The service also assists with hospital discharges, ensuring safety equipment is in place for a successful discharge.
The role requires excellent administrative and communication skills, and the ability to organise team workloads effectively. If you are self-motivated, organised, and passionate about helping older people, this role could be perfect for you.

35 hours per week, M-F, with an 8.30am start. 1 year Fixed Term contract, in the first instance (while we negotiate funding)
