Administrator | Financial Services
Edinburgh City Centre | office based role
Full time role | Monday to Friday | 9:00am to 5:00pm
Salary up to £30,000 + benefits
Fixed Term Contract role until end of 2024 | potential for extension
Search are currently working with a top Financial Services business based in central Edinburgh to recruit an Administrator within their Client Reporting team. This role provides key support to the wider company and their customers & clients by providing essential administrative and technical support.
Duties involved in this role will include:
* Setting up new customer & client accounts
* Carrying out transfers of cash & stock to & from client accounts
* Settling of client transactions across various markets
* Providing administrative support to internal teams and client executives
* Supporting with the closing & settlement of client accounts
* Liaising with third parties on a variety of transaction & market issues
* Carrying out reconciliations of cash & stock accounts
* Providing portfolio valuations
* Various other ad hoc Financial Administration duties as directed/required
In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:
* Previous administration experience, preferably from within a Financial or Professional Services setting - the administration experience is essential
* Candidates with FS Operations experience such as Transfers, Corporate Actions or Onboarding would be very much preferred - although this is not completely essential
* Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal as contact with both internal & external stakeholders will be required
* Solid Excel skills, confident working with spreadsheets and formulas
* Confident problem solver and able to quickly adapt to change
* Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise & complete a busy workload
