What the day will look like
In this wide and varied role, you'll be joining a highly focused Client Service team and will be responsible for a number of key activities including:
- Negotiating your clients' renewal terms, mid-term adjustments and cover extensions
- Preparation of comprehensive marketing presentations and the renewal report, working with our placement brokers to prepare full cover comparisons as required.
- Communicate terms of settlement to clients, ensuring premiums are debited (and allocated appropriately where necessary) and assist with maintenance of credit control standards.
- Contribute to the formulation of the service plan, reports, presentations, and any other client documents etc. as required including visits to clients.
- Actively engaging and supporting the wider Client Service team, including collaboration with the Aon Global Network, on broader risk and insurance solutions.
- Ensuring Aon comply with all regulatory requirements.
How this opportunity is different
This is so much more than a standard Commercial Account Handling role. Our corporate team handles large UK or multinational risks across all business sectors. Clients here generate premiums at a high level and require a commercial product portfolio beyond the core UK classes of Property, Liability and Fleet. In this exciting role, you will be dealing with a variety of other risks including Cyber, Professional Indemnity, D&O and many more. Additionally, you'll be able to network across the whole of Aon as we continue to enhance our Aon United proposition.
Knowledge, skills and experience that will lead to success
- UK commercial insurance knowledge and experience gained across the core classes of Property, Liability and Fleet
- Global programme experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Client focused approach by taking ownership, to provide the highest possible levels of service at all times
- IT literate with proven Excel skills
- Progressing, or a desire to progress towards ACII or CII Diploma
