M&G Trustee Company Limited (" MTCL") offers a wide range of Trustee and Agency services in the capital markets space. No investment related activity is carried out.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong understanding of Project and Infrastructure Finance to join a rapidly expanding organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the onboarding and administration of new and existing transactions where MTCL acts as Loan Agent/Facility Agent and/or Trustee. The role will also have some scope to carry out business development activity by originating new transactions that the Client Service Manager would then onboard and manage. This will be an hybrid Client Service/business origination role which suits a professional with previous relevant experience in managing Loan portfolios and an existing initial network of clients and who has an ambition to gain exposure to business development.
Key Responsibilities for this role:
- Run and maintain an existing portfolio of Project/infrastructure Finance transactions ensuring a high level of service
- Onboard, set up and manage a deal from signing and completion, through to termination
- Review transaction documents at an operational level
- Process general Loan agency/Trustee activities and instruct payments
- Process waiver and consent requests
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Solid experience in Project/infrastructure finance and relevant Corporate Trust Agency functions
- Understanding of LMA loan agreements from an operational point of view
- Good numerical and excel skills
- Ability to model waterfalls is preferable but not essential
- LoanIQ knowledge is an advantage but not essential
- Good network of contacts in the corporate trust space and ambition to generate more opportunities and carry out an hybrid Client Services/business development role
- Ability to think strategically and lead implementation
- Very well organised and strong attention to details
- Ability to work as part of a team, strong communication and presentation skills
