Our client, a global leading company in the financial services industry, is currently recruiting for a Client Services Officer to join their team in Ipswich. This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer focussed individual to join a company that pride themselves on providing a dedicated and trusted service to their clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing mortgages accounts that are in arrears by ensuring collection and litigation activities are carried out in accordance with regulations. You will be required to support customer’s, organise repayments, and advising on the next steps, whilst accurately updating documents and systems as appropriate.
On a day-to-day basis you will communicate with customers primarily by receiving incoming and making outgoing calls to understand circumstances, take payments and discuss options to find the best outcome for the customer. You will also analyse customer documentation including bank statements and Income and expenditure forms to ascertain potential solutions for the customer and respond appropriately.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven customer service and administration experience gained from a professional environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and empathetic nature when dealing with sensitive situations
- IT literate, including use of Microsoft Office packages
- Effective time management skills
- Reasoning and Mathematical abilities
- Accuracy and attention to detail
