SalaryA friendly and established firm in Manchester is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor/legal executive to join their expanding Clinical Negligence department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor/legal executive at the beginning of their career, seeking a new challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of your own caseload in Clinical Negligence, including both pre-litigation and litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide legal advice to clients.
- Prepare and attend court hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, medical experts, and other relevant parties involved in the cases.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records.
- Collaborate with other members of the Clinical Negligence department to share knowledge and best practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor or legal executive with ideally 1-2 years PQE in Clinical Negligence law, although candidates with up to 4 years PQE will be considered.
- Experience in handling both pre-litigation and litigation matters independently.
- Strong legal research, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload effectively.
- Willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to a supportive culture.
