Job description

Clinical Quality Coordinator – 24N/COOR

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our QualityControl team within Randox Heath, providing Quality Assurance assistance in themanagement of non-conforming work identified within Randox Testing Servicesunder the direction of the Quality Manager and Quality Assurance Manager,development, and implementation of Quality projects to develop and maintain theQMS established within RTS and associated tasks.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

1)To participate in Quality Audits,taking the lead as a fully trained and competent internal auditor for ISO17025,ISO15189 & GCP audits.

2)Monitor clinical documentation throughQ-Pulse to ensure compliance with the quality regulatory requirements, inparticular ISO17025, ISO15189 & GCP audits.

3)Participate in special projectsand initiatives as requested by the RCLS Quality Manager or RCLS Deputy Head ofDepartment.

4)Assist in the Management of theRCLS Quality email inbox.

5)Conduct Clinical and Molecular EQAinvestigations when performance of an assay deteriorates in any RCLS Lab site.

6)Ensure that EQA/IQC Investigations& Actions are progressed in line with documented SOPs.

7)Assist in the monitoring Customerqueries and trending of outcome of query.

8)Assist in Internal Audits andQuality Reviews.

9)Monitor clinical documentation toensure compliance with the quality regulatory requirements, in particularISO17025, ISO15189 and GCP and review of status on QPulse.

10)Attending Department Quality &Technical Review meetings, taking minutes and keeping notes.

11)Assist in the Management andtrending of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which includes turnaround timesachieved for the release of results to Customers, instrument efficiency acrossall RCLS Lab sites, Internal Quality Control performance, LaboratoryInformation System (LIMS) errors and trending of opening and close out of NCPs,Quality incidents and CAPAs.

12)Adherence to company Positive work EnvironmentPolicies, health & safety procedures, and the maintenance of a safe workingenvironment.

Essential:

1)Qualified to degree level in BiomedicalSciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Immunology or a Life Science (Min 2:1).

2)Possess excellent verbal and writtencommunication and organisational skills.

3)Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

4)Computer literate.

5)Knowledge of a variety of software packages,such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, & Excel to producecorrespondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheetsand databases.

Desirable:

1)Experience in a clinical diagnosticslaboratory.

2)Experience in Quality Managements Systems i.e.ISO9001/ISO17025/ISO15189/GCP.

3)Good troubleshooting skills.
