CPL are delighted to continue our partnership with a well-established and successful manufacturing company in the Ballymena area as the seek to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to join the team at a pivotal time in the company’s growth plans.

As the Finance Manager you will provide key strategic financial management across the business with a key focus on three significant projects across 2024 & 2025.

Roles & Responsibilities;

·       Enhance organisation profitability and maintain strong financial management

·       Oversee financial aspects of a factory extension project

·       Manage the contract costs process for civils projects

·       Design, test, and implement the new ERP system

·       Develop systems for improved financial control

·       Chair finance meetings with Senior Management and Directors to enhance financial results.

·       Stay informed about new initiatives and legislation related to financial management, providing advice to Directors accordingly.

·       Ensure compliance with all taxation and regulatory requirements.

·       Lead communication with auditors, grant agencies, business advisers, and investors.

·       Assist in other accounting projects and undertake reasonable duties as agreed upon by the Directors.

What we are looking for;

·       Educated to degree level or equivalent and ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified

·       At least 5 years post qualification experience ideally in manufacturing or construction

·       Significant experience at Financial Controller or Finance Manager Level

·       Proven experience of preparing and presenting financial management accounts, reports and data with ability to provide sound reporting and insightful analysis and forecasting

·       Strong business acumen and drive to contribute at strategic level of the organisation

·       Sound working knowledge of accounting software systems.

·       Ability to work with various departments within the company to encourage achievement of company goals.
